Before paying for a gym membership, check five things in the selected agreement: the product you are buying, the total due now, future payments, access dates and the process for changing or ending the arrangement. Record the written terms and ask about anything missing or inconsistent. For prices and signup links, start with Gym of Foley membership options.
This guide helps you organize what you read. It does not interpret the agreement, promise cancellation or refund rights, or replace professional legal advice where needed. Leave an answer blank if the agreement does not make it clear, and ask the gym to resolve it.
Confirm the exact product first
Gym of Foley's approved options include recurring memberships, one-, three-, and six-month prepaid memberships, and two-day, three-day, and one-week guest passes. Corporate and Law, Military & First Responders options require applicable eligibility. Use the selected product's agreement rather than assuming every option has identical terms. Review the gym's membership information.
- Exact product name I selected: ______
- Person or people covered by that selection: ______
- Eligibility or age/guardian requirements I need confirmed: ______
- Agreement date or version, if shown: ______
- Question I need answered before continuing: ______
If you have several browser tabs open, close the choices you have ruled out. Then check that the product named in the agreement matches the one you intended to buy. That is a simple way to avoid comparing one plan while enrolling in another.
If you are still deciding whether the facility fits your routine, book a staffed tour first. A useful visit can inform the purchase decision, but only the selected product's checkout and applicable agreement explain its payment and access terms.
Separate today's payment from future payments
A recurring monthly rate is not necessarily the amount initially due. Prepaid and guest-pass prices are presented as one-time payments. The exact checkout total and full agreement still need review, including any taxes or other applicable amounts. See Gym of Foley's pricing cautions.
Fill in the following directly from the selected checkout and agreement:
- Total due now, including all displayed charges: ______
- What that initial payment covers: ______
- Future payment amount and frequency, if any: ______
- First future billing date, if any: ______
- Other charges described in the agreement, if any: ______
- Payment authorization and renewal terms I have read: ______
Do not enter account numbers or card details in this worksheet. Keep payment information in the secure checkout. If the total or payment schedule is different from what you expected, pause and get an explanation before paying.
Write down access dates instead of inferring them
The two-day and three-day guest-pass product names may conflict with agreement wording showing one week. Ask staff to resolve the exact duration before purchasing; do not infer another product's rules from its name. Read the gym's guest-pass duration notice.
- Activation date or activation event: ______
- Expiration date and time, if applicable: ______
- Permitted access times for this product: ______
- How I will receive entry instructions: ______
- Included services and separately purchased services: ______
A useful question is: “I intend to visit on these dates and at these times. Where does the agreement confirm that this product covers them?” That is more precise than asking whether a pass is “good for the weekend.”
Find the section about changing or ending the arrangement
Read the actual wording about renewal, cancellation, notice, pauses, transfers, and refunds, where those topics appear. Month-to-month does not itself establish cancellation or notice rules. This worksheet does not assume that any particular option is available.
- How a request must be made: ______
- Where it must be sent or submitted: ______
- Required notice or deadline, if stated: ______
- When the change takes effect, if stated: ______
- Charges or restrictions connected to the request: ______
- How I can keep a record of the request and response: ______
Annotate a payment schedule without guessing the missing pieces
Imagine a fictional checkout with a line labeled “due today,” another showing a recurring amount, and a date for the next payment. Copy each item into its own field. Do not assume the amount due today is the recurring amount multiplied by a particular period; read what the checkout says it covers.
For a real Gym of Foley selection, the advertised standard month-to-month rate is $49, while the one-week guest pass is listed at $52 as a one-time payment. These are different payment structures. Check the actual total and any other disclosed amounts. A price comparison alone cannot explain renewal, cancellation, or refund provisions.
- What I can read directly: copy the product, displayed amounts, dates, and frequency accurately.
- What the agreement explains: note what the initial payment covers and which future obligations apply.
- What I cannot determine: leave the answer open and write a specific question.
This method makes uncertainty visible. It does not interpret legal language or establish that a particular charge is permitted or prohibited.
Resolve a mismatch before clicking through
If the product name, marketing page, and agreement do not match, capture enough non-sensitive detail to explain the discrepancy. For example: “I selected the two-day pass, but this agreement section says one week. Which written terms apply to my purchase?” Avoid sending card numbers or other payment credentials with the question.
Ask staff to resolve the issue, then review the applicable written terms before deciding whether to proceed. A vague reassurance such as “it will be fine” does not fill in the start date, expiration, or payment schedule you are trying to understand. If the response leaves a material question unresolved, pausing the purchase remains an option.
Keep service promises separate from access terms
A membership may provide access while a service requires a separate arrangement. If personal training matters to you, ask about availability, price, and booking. This worksheet does not claim that coaching comes with every membership. Likewise, confirm schedules and rules for amenities you intend to use.
If you need help describing your intended routine, the fitness planner can organize general activity ideas. Use those ideas to identify questions about equipment and instruction. A planner result is not a membership agreement, a service reservation, or a promise that a particular exercise can be performed at the facility.
Save a useful purchase record
Keep the selected product name, accepted agreement, payment confirmation, and entry instructions together using the options the checkout provides. Store them privately. A saved marketing screenshot can provide context, but it is not a substitute for the terms you accepted or evidence that a payment succeeded.
For any later question, begin with the product and purchase date. Find the actual process for changes or cancellation in the agreement rather than assuming an email, chat message, or cancellation of a tour also changes the membership. This is an organizational recommendation, not legal advice or a statement about a specific cancellation policy.
Finish with an unanswered-question check
Read your worksheet once without looking at the marketing page. Could you explain what you are buying, what you will pay, when you can enter, and what the agreement says about future changes? If an important answer is missing or two sections conflict, get clarification and check the applicable written terms before proceeding.
Save the agreement and purchase confirmation for your own records using the checkout's available options. For help choosing between product categories before this step, see our guest-pass and membership comparison.
Proceed when you understand the selection and its terms. Arrange a tour for unresolved facility questions.
Use the fitness planner to clarify the general routine your membership would support.
Why two one-month prices can describe different products
The standard membership is $49 per month as a recurring rate. A one-month prepaid membership is $81 as a one-time payment. Comparing only the words “one month” hides the difference in future billing. See current membership options and the monthly versus prepaid guide.
If you want personal training, ask whether its charge and membership requirements are separate. Membership prices do not establish training prices or included sessions.
