A prepaid membership uses a one-time payment for a defined period; a recurring membership has an ongoing billing arrangement under its agreement. Guest passes serve shorter visits. Choose the payment structure and covered dates that fit your plans, then review the signup total and terms. The lowest advertised monthly number is not necessarily the lowest total commitment.
This guide explains those payment structures. For the price list and signup links, use Gym of Foley memberships. The example prices below were approved as of October 1, 2026; review the exact checkout total and current agreement before purchasing.
For a short stay: compare guest passes
Guest passes are a place to start when you need temporary gym access while visiting Foley:
- Two-day guest pass: $27 one-time payment
- Three-day guest pass: $32 one-time payment
- One-week guest pass: $52 one-time payment
Confirm the selected pass’s activation and expiration terms before paying. The checkout agreement may still show one week for a short-pass product; ask staff to resolve any conflicting wording. Do not assume a pass begins at your first workout.
One-day passes are available in person only; ask staff for the price. Do not infer the one-week pass’s activation or expiry terms from another product.
Our guide to choosing a guest pass while visiting Foley covers arrival planning and other details to check.
If you are unsure how often you will train, start with a realistic weekly outline using the fitness planner. A plan you can actually use is a better basis for comparing access than an optimistic promise to attend every day.
For a longer stay: review prepaid memberships
Prepaid memberships are listed as one-time payments for these membership lengths:
- One-month prepaid membership: $81
- Three-month prepaid membership: $199
- Six-month prepaid membership: $348
Compare the length with the time you expect to be in the area. Read the agreement for start and end dates and any other conditions; a one-time payment does not by itself tell you the refund or extension policy.
For a regular routine: compare recurring monthly rates
If you plan to train in Foley regularly, review these recurring options on the main membership signup page:
- Month-to-month membership: $49 per month
- Corporate month-to-month membership: $45 per month, with applicable eligibility
- Law, Military & First Responders membership: $39 per month, with applicable eligibility
Ask staff to confirm eligibility for a discounted plan rather than selecting one based only on its price. Month-to-month describes the membership option; it does not establish that cancellation is immediate, notice-free, or without other agreement requirements.
A monthly rate is different from your signup total
The $49, $45, and $39 figures above are recurring monthly rates. They are not a promise of the amount initially charged. Prepaid memberships and guest passes are quoted as one-time payments. Taxes and other applicable checkout amounts may affect the total shown before payment.
Before completing signup, review the full initial charge, any recurring billing, payment timing, and cancellation terms. If the checkout does not match what you expected, ask staff to explain it before you pay.
Use three questions to narrow the options
- Is there a known final visit date? A short trip or defined stay gives you a period to compare with guest passes and prepaid products. Confirm the activation and expiration rules rather than assuming the name describes every detail.
- Do you expect an ongoing local routine? Recurring membership may belong in the comparison, but read future billing and cancellation terms before choosing it.
- Are your intended visits dependable? Work, travel, and caregiving may make some visits conditional. Compare products against the dates you realistically expect to use, not the maximum number the calendar could hold.
These questions narrow the product category; they do not select the agreement for you. The right choice still depends on the actual terms, eligibility, and full price displayed for your selection.
Compare three fictional situations
A weekend visitor: Taylor has two planned workouts on consecutive dates. A short guest pass is worth reviewing, including its activation and expiration terms. Taylor checks the dates before paying rather than assuming the pass waits for the first workout.
A visitor with a defined longer stay: Sam expects to be in Foley for several weeks and wants to avoid assuming an ongoing local schedule. The one-month prepaid option belongs in the comparison. Sam checks the actual access period and terms instead of interpreting “one month” as a promise about a particular checkout or departure date.
A local adult establishing a routine: Drew expects to keep training in Foley. The $49-per-month recurring option is relevant, alongside the agreement's billing and cancellation provisions. Drew does not compare that advertised monthly rate with the $52 one-week pass and conclude that the recurring product is automatically the cheaper short visit. The products create different arrangements.
Separate price arithmetic from a purchase decision
Dividing a listed price by expected visits can help you understand your own budget, but label the result carefully. If a $52 one-week pass were used for four visits within its confirmed validity period, the advertised base price divided by those visits would be $13 per visit. That is an illustration, not a per-visit product, a guaranteed checkout total, or permission to use visits outside the access period.
Make the same calculation using fewer realistic visits if your schedule is uncertain. Do not add workouts solely to make the arithmetic look better. An option that fits your trip and agreement preferences may be more useful than a lower theoretical cost based on visits you will not make.
Review the total due at checkout and distinguish the recurring rate from applicable taxes and any other disclosed amounts. Check the full billing and cancellation terms before purchase.
Check the facility before optimizing the price
A plan is useful only if the gym fits the routine. Before committing, consider travel time, entry at your intended hour, equipment you need, and whether you want instruction. Arrange a staffed tour if those questions are unresolved. Ask about personal-training availability and separate arrangements instead of assuming coaching comes with your chosen membership.
A final comparison you can explain
Finish this sentence before checkout: “I selected this product because it covers these dates, uses this payment structure, and fits these terms.” If you cannot fill in the dates or future-payment part, pause. A quick clarification now is more useful than trying to reconstruct the agreement after purchase.
Compare access and amenities as well as price
Gym of Foley offers 24/7 member access, with staff present Monday–Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central time. Friday–Sunday are unstaffed. Review the access terms for your selected product; member access does not mean staff or all amenities are available around the clock.
Sauna is included. Tanning and MMA are separate memberships. If either is important to your choice, confirm its membership details, schedule, and rules with staff before purchasing.
Make your choice with three questions
- How long will I use the gym? Start with guest passes for a short stay, prepaid options for a defined longer stay, or recurring membership for a regular routine.
- Do the agreement and total fit my plans? Check duration, access, initial charges, recurring billing, and cancellation rules.
- What do I still need staff to confirm? Resolve eligibility, amenity, and access questions before paying.
Want to see the gym first? Read what to know for your first visit, or call (251) 943-5591 to request a staffed tour at 120 W Berry Ave, Foley, AL 36535.
Choose the payment arrangement that matches your actual plans. Book a tour if the facility fit is still uncertain.
Use the fitness planner to turn a general intention into a realistic weekly outline before buying.
Check corporate and service-rate eligibility first
The recurring corporate rate is $45 per month, and the Law, Military & First Responders rate is $39 per month. The standard recurring rate is $49 per month. These are monthly rates, not a promise of the total due at signup. Taxes may apply.
Ask staff whether your employer or role qualifies and what information you need to provide. Do not assume eligibility extends to household members, retirees, veterans or every public-service role. This guide does not establish a documentation rule or promise approval.
